Mitsou! I met her in Chicago in 1991.

I had been watching MuchMusic on my giant satellite dish in those long ago days, so I was a big fan of her adorable sexiness. At the 1991 WEA Sales Convention in Chicago, I spent the first (or maybe second) night suite-hopping, as was the norm in those days.

She had just been signed to a U.S. WEA-distributed label, and - thanks to all the MuchMusic - I was the only stooge who’d not only heard of her, but actually liked her zexy French-Canadian pop. She was very happy to meet someone who knew and liked her stuff.

Oh, to be young again.
